DogHaven is owned and operated by Karl
and Deborah Knowles CPDT PDT ABT. We are certified, veterinarian
recommended pet dog trainers. DogHaven has been serving Charlotte
and the surrounding communities since 1999, assisting people with
basic training, behavioral issues and agility fun. All of our methodologies are based on
creating a positive relationship with your dog. We are a family
owned business committed to providing top quality services to meet
all of your canine needs. Our primary goal is to make living with
your dog easier and more enjoyable.
Deborah is a certified mentor trainer for Animal Behavior College
(ABC) and Canine Trainers Academy (CATCH). We provide hands on
experience for ABC and CATCH students who have completed the Dog
Trainer curriculum.
Deborah is also a graduate of the Companion Animal Science Institute
with a diploma in Animal Behavioral Technology. DogHaven is an
authorized provider for the American Red Cross offering pet
CPR and First Aid certification. As of 2014, DogHaven is an
authorized evaluator for the Paws4People Therapy Dog Program.
