Skidmore's Blue Jack of Diamonds

Kasey is our newest Miniature American Shepherd. He will be starting his career in the world of conformation hopefully at six months old. We are so excited to see what he can do.  Kasey has an outstanding pedigree and a temperament to die for.

Stones River's Dreamcatcher RN

Mindy joined our family in July of 2017 from Stones River in Tennessee. She is such a sweet girl. Everyone loves Mindy!

In training Mindy, we thought that we would change gears and try her in Obedience, Rally and possibly Conformation instead of following the Agility path.  So work began immediately with heeling, and rally skills. When she turned six months old, we entered our first Rally competition and she earned a score of 97 and a second place! Quite an accomplishment for a baby! She has gone on to finish her Novice title with a perfect score of 100!  At that same trial she earned her first qualifying score in the Advanced level! More to come!

Triple R's Taking It To The Limit AX AXJ

Baker came to us in the summer of 2014 from Triple R Miniature American Shepherds in Massachusetts. His training began immediately starting with puppy basics, body awareness and agility groundwork. We found Baker to be an extrememly agile dog who loved to be off the ground more than on the ground! As his training progressed,  he began to show great promise on the agility field and a love for the game.  Baker made his agility debut in September 2015 in Waynesville, NC. Baker is the first dog that I started trialing with at such an early age, and he has far exceded my expectations. With each event that we enter, Baker continues to grow in the sport. After only a few outings, he earned his Novice Standard and Novice Jumpers titles.
After a break for adolescent attitude adjustments, we entered trials in October and November 2016 and queued almost every time out to earn his OA and OAJ titles! Can't wait to see how far he goes!

Shoreland's I Like Ike AX AXJ (retired)

And here's Ike! At 2 years old, Ike went to his first AKC agility trial in Nov 2008, and earned his Novice Standard title. His Open Standard title came in 2009 along with his Novice Jumpers title. In 2010 I was injured. I broke my foot, and I also had to have knee surgery, so Ike's career went on hold for a year or so.  In 2012, Ike earned both his excellent and jumpers with weaves titles. Due to medical reasons Ike was retired in 2013.  He still wants to run, but his body won't let him.

Plails Dream Windwalker MX MXJ (retired)

Dobie is always in motion. He loves agility and has tons of drive. In the fall of 2004 Dobie began his agility career and began queuing immediately. In his career, he earned his Masters titles and was about halfway to his MACH when he was retired. Dobie now warms the couch.

U-Ch Watauga Radames' Aida RN MX MXJ

June 15, 2001 - January 22, 2011

Aida began competing in agility in March of 2003.  After just a few outings Aida earned her AX  AXJ titles.  In 2006 we got our MXJ title and started earning double queues toward our MACH. In 2007 Aida earned her Masters titles and more double queues. Aida dabbled in obedience and earned her Rally Novice title in one weekend (July 28-30, 2006)!

In 2008 Aida decided that she would like to retire, so she relaxed at home and enjoyed the easy life for the rest of her life.

Aida was also a UKC Champion in the conformation ring and had points toward her AKC Championship.

Aida was a very special girl.

Jenecho's Stir It Up AX AXJ
May 10, 2005 - Dec 31,2015

Roxie was a ball of fire and did all that we asked of her in obedience, agility and conformation.  In rememberance of Roxie.
We miss you girl...
************
Roxie made it to the agility trials before we had planned! She ran at a NADAC trial in November 2007 and showed us what she could do. Roxie and I had the fastest novice times in both jumpers and standard and took first place in both rounds at her first trial!

Roxie is now running in AKC trials and doing quite well. She earned both her Novice Standard title and  her Novice Jumpers title in 2008. In 2009 Roxie was handled by Suzette Aquino. Roxie and Suzette earned their Open Standard and Open Jumpers title! In 2010 Roxie and I are back together. We got her Excellent Jumpers title in Asheville in January!

In December 2015 we lost Roxie to a bleeding disorder. It was a shock as she never complained or told us she was sick. we will miss you girl.

                      Anasazi Independence Day RA
(July 2, 2004 - November 8, 2016)

Indy is a wonderful dog. He is a fast learner and is developing great obedience and agility skills. Indy began competing Rally obedience

this year (2006) and has already earned his Advanced Rally title!

In 2007, we began to work toward Indy's CD. He has earned one leg towards his title thus far.

Indy was retired from competition in 2007 when he was diagnosed with heart disease. Indy will live the rest of his lazy days with us with no stress or worry.

In November 2016 Indy gave up the fight. He was 12 years old and still fighting for more time, but he was tired and had enough. We sadly let him go. He will never be forgotten.
